If I get time I'll do it.

Edit: Fiddling some. UV map partly broken with rogue vertices. Stitching those and pulling things back into a smooth pattern for future easier use.

Most of the parts are ripped off from the Plated Charger, so you can use some of those textures if you need to. I'd port the plated charger textures over, but the plate armor was reshaped to fit the donkey mesh, so the textures barely fit anymore

Sure, I don't think I'll need to use old textures. I just found myself needing to fix the UV map some though - that will mean sending you the new .obj back with the new UV map. It's close, it just had a few vertices unstitched and flung to the far reaches, so I fixed those and then decided while I was at it, to remove as many distortions in the map as possible.

Would you like this armor to be fancy looking or more rough and ready?

If it was fancy looking then maybe it could be given as an event prize/raffle prize. I'd check with Tydeus before starting work on a fancy version though.

It's probably way overkill but sometimes I get a wild hair to do something specific. I've converted the model to high res, smoothed it, added surface details and dents, and probably tomorrow will get some time to give it materials and bump maps, bake the texture and apply it to the low res model. If not tomorrow, hopefully before the weekend. Work's a beeyatch right now.

Edit: I get asked about what stuff I use all the time, so just to cover that, so far it's: 3DSMax, Maya (sometimes I import between them, they both do different things better), Crazybump, Zbrush, Photoshop.

And yeah, I'd love to get paid more in my regular job, though I can't complain about its stability which is nice. In the meantime I'm building a new 3D portfolio to showcase more current skills, software, and game engine experience for freelance - I used to do that a few years back but after a hiatus, you have to show that you are up to date so all my old stuff is pretty useless.

I hope as I get a little more free time I can poke around with some more textures and such here - it's always more fun to work on things you love.

Oh, and this little project tanked by game performance yesterday. Whoda thunk you couldn't run a bunch of 3D and art programs while playing CRPG? TOTAL MISERABLE DEATH
