Yeah all these issues that you're complaining about are already addressed or being addressed prior to the standalone ever even being released.

DayZ SA has already corrected the path finding for the zombies, customized zombie animations, added an entirely new inventory/item system into the game and even changed around the way your character will interact with objects/other people within the environment to make the gameplay that much smoother and less clunky.

Honestly, if the DayZ Dev team were to release an alpha version of the SA tomorrow I myself and thousands of others would definitely purchase it just with the basic foundation of the game they have currently have completed. I have no doubts that the DayZ SA sales would be right there on par with the Arma III alpha sales.

DayZ / DayZ Tips + Squad

Just a few tips for first starting out.

1. Amazing place to get a decent starting weapon is often just south of Balota Airfield. South of Balota Airfield is an Army medical camp with 4 deer stands which often spawn military grade weapons/other loot. This is a very good alternative to the death trap that Balota Airfield has become.

2. Avoid the larger cities unless you're extremely desperate for some starting gear. If you must enter Cherno or Electro then I would only recommend hitting the following locations.
Cherno: Head to the Mid-East side of the city and around that area you will find an Army medical camp with tents that each spawn med supplies and military grade weapons/gear.
Electro: Avoid heading anywhere into the heart of the city and just attempt to loot the power plant/fire station on the North-East side of the city. Surprisingly I find this location often overlooked and not being camped by bandits/snipers.

3. Once you have some sort of starting gear, a great place to head is the city of Stary. On the North-East side of Stary you will find an Army camp with plenty of lootable tents. Each tent has a chance to spawn military grade weapons and often spawn high tier backpacks. However, be aware of the forest/treeline that overlooks this Army camp and be sure to scan it prior to entering as there is often snipers/bandits lurking in the trees waiting to prey on weaker players.

4. As soon as you feel comfortable enough to go there, head to the North-West Airfield. This area has two lootable barracks, each spawning plenty of military grade loot. Also there are lootable hangars, a fire station and a Control tower. Just be aware that there will be a lot of veteran players hanging around here and most will typically be well geared. This however, is probably hands down the best place on the entire map to find military grade weapons/loot.

5. Very important tip is to never trust other players you don't know. I usually stick by the rule that if they're not in teamspeak/voicechat with you then don't trust them. Treat every person as a hostile. This doesn't mean you have to kill every single person you see on sight, but just play smart and avoid being friendly with players you don't know. Follow this rule and you will find yourself feeling the cool hands of death grasping you a lot less.

Anyway, I do have a squad of active players who play DayZ often, mostly on a Taviana server. If interested in playing with us or possibly joining the squad then just simply jump in the Lost Legion TeamSpeak at any time. DayZ in my opinion is a much better game played with others.

Some MB are str builds, but no where near the amount of KUTT, I can count maybe 5 to 7 in MB that are full str.

Only people specced over 21 Str in KUTT are as follows:

1.)Tretter Who is of course full Str and crutches full plate normally
 
2.)Negga Who is specced high str and wears a kuyak and black gloves

3.)Artie Who is a pure thrower who typically wears NO ARMOR at all unless you consider a straw hat heavy armor...

I dont see how these 3 people would label a clan as STR crutches


MB I see running around with what I believe to be more balanced builds like 24-15. However, I see like 50% of your clan crutching transitional majority of the time with 2h swords. Combine that with a reasonably high Str build like 24-15 and you have a far worse 2h hero to fight against than a full str build who has no mobility or speed and just tanks hits.

Not hating or anything because MB is the only clan that actually goes back and forth with us in siege which makes it more fun, but I think you misevaluated your clan

Those are just the ones I'm SURE have a strength build.
I could use the money.

I would give you the money if these were actual str builds.

Only person listed there that specs high str is Tretter.

Everyone else on there is currently specced 21 str or less and only Para/Tretter are currently using anything close to heavy armor on that list

NA Siege has been ruined by clans min/max specializing their builds to it. Both MB and KUTT run 10-20 guys in str builds and 60+ armour.

Just dumb, can't compete against someone with twice your armor, can't kill them fast enough to overcome choke/flag camp or massed push.

Battle still balanced, STR builds/armor definitely do not rule when there's room to maneuver and no 3 feet wide chokes or flags but siege is now a joke balance wise.

Dumbass please name 5 KUTT members who run actual STR builds and wear 60+ armor and I'll give you 500K crpg gold no joke


Also KUTT hasn't even been playing actively on seige the past few days, no more than maybe 4 of us on there at a time for no more than a hour or two.


Seige sucks because there was a new map rotation submitted and said by the devs to be implemented then never was. So great play once again by the devs. Something so simple to fix was once again just ignored and put on the back burner

Actually if Archery remains the way it is now (PLEASEEEEEEEEEE DONT CHANGE IT) then cav is getting a behind the scenes nerf, STR build archers are now viable therefore increasing the amount of damage per shot rendering cav more vulnerable to range
