I hate pogosan, would like to cut his nipples harshly with razor, cut his right leg with a saw slowly, then force him to make breakdance until he dies from bleeding by intimidating him with a gun.

I wish.

Youre excluding people who dont have a life

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Nobody here has a life, that was a figure of speech.

Just to clarify. Nobody is expected to drop their current life and join a bunch of nerds making games having just the information from the post. If you're actually one of the things chadz mentioned, there will obviously be interviews and in-depth information on the game and the project in general, allowing you to judge for yourselves if you're cut out for this or not.

ps. don't try to apply to fish for game info. All applicants need to sign NDA's like in actual companies. Quoting a great man:

Wait, who said the "2nd project" failed and where did "3rd project" even come from?

All memes aside, the lack of transparency or oversight looks shady, and all-too familiar.

I hope they make something good and find success, but I don't know many professionals willing to bet their career on it with nothing more to go on than goodwill, medium-term memory loss, and a blank website that exists only for people to apply for jobs.

30+ people in Poland suggests a new investor. Anyone want to take 20 guesses on why potential applicants from this community in particular may be interested in this information? eg. Will you still have a job by Christmas if you're a successful applicant?

How long has it even been in development? The fancy new company that's now registered in Poland looks like it's just been around 7 months:

You say it's not medieval in the post here, which is a bold choice as that's the one interest this community has in common. But going out on a limb I'm getting siege engine vibes from the little information available. Some kind of multiplayer game based on siege engines or tanks or something which isn't "match based"?

I don't mind playing the baddie here. And I definitely don't mind if someone here wants to prove me wrong by quitting their job and applying for one of the vacancies on their blank website (that'd sure show me xD), or if Pogosan corrects any of what I've just said to give the "real" details and prove me wrong that way. It does make me wonder that a community that's so supposedly cynical and untrusting when it comes to every other topic of discussion seems to react only positively to one of the shadiest-looking propositions that's ever visited this forum.

lol why would I care to correct you? The thread was made since we're getting community applications anyway and was mostly addressed to Polish students, who were lurking around here for years. Don't worry, Heskey, even if we need a professional forum shitposter on the project, we won't bother a busy man like yourself.

Anyone got Ras' contact?

No skills, eh? So my no skill having ass can work find work there? How many carrots per week we talking here?

That balancer tag on forums is probably regarded higher than a uni paper here tbh, so go ahead. Number of carrots depends on general skill, so you can only get that info after an interview.

We got a few donkeys from NA too.

Like Tydeus.

plz tell me you need a dentist.

Probably not on site, but if you're looking for a new calling in life, we're interested in very passionate people with no skills other than dealing pain too.

i made the played donkey’s model and can mess around in gimp and blender to make half assed textures (normals and specmaps are easier to do than diffuse though)

also this one time I tried increasing the polys on the Axe so it looks less trash but it didn’t get added lololol

sounds more professional than most of the things I do

As you know, Donkey Crew is currently developing a new large project that is not a space simulator. We've got around 30 talented people and myself, plus a bunch of outsourcing guys working on the game day and, sometimes, yeldurht, adding new features and polishing before revealing the game to all of you and the rest of the world. We've got no unsolvable issues so far, and internal deadlines seem to be quite doable, so we're hoping to share our little game pretty soon™.

The project in general is very different from anything any of us did before. It's not medieval, it's not match based, and it has no lolstabs. However, among many entirely new features and mechanics you will definitely see some connections and inspirations directly from cRPG and other similar games, so I doubt the game will feel foreign even with completely new direction.

Since we're a big and professional company, we're continuing to welcome new people to our friendly donkey stable, and considering that around 1/3 of the team started out as mere cRPG players, we'd be happy to have more people around that could keep up with discussions about how archery is too OP (we literally have no ranged other than siege weapons) and why Danish Greatsword is the best weapon.

If you think you could fit in and become a valuable team member on our current (and future) project(s), our doors are always opened for passionate people who would want to or already work in gamedev.

There is the website with some of the positions we're interested in the most -, but we're actually looking for pretty much anyone with great interest in gamedev. So if you're a concept artist, an aspiring producer, a UI designer, or doing anything else remotely related to games and the industry, let us know and get in touch.

We're always looking for paid interns to actually take part in game development instead of being a human coffee machine like in some other places. So even with very little skill, as long as you have a general understanding of the field you're interested in, we'll be glad to speak to you and discuss a position within the team.

Say hi back and join us by sending a message -

EDIT: Rereading the post, it actually looks like I'm trying to hint that it's a space simulator by specifically saying it's not. It's actually just a meme on Leshma's recent post here.
It is actually not a space game in any shape or form.

So what happened to their new project? That donkeycrew website is barren.
Any progress?

Pretty much what James said. The first post by chadz was just to give a sign that nobody got their organs stolen like many speculated and we're all working on a new game instead of drinking heavily (even though it's Poland). Getting pretty close to uncovering the project, but need some time to polish it a bit more before doing any public tests. You'll hear about it before any media, that's a guarantee.

cRPG might die and come back and die again, but memes will live on 🙏

General Discussion / Re: Does anyone here have open source of CRPG

chadz said he probably wouldn't be able to find the source code, but Prof should definitely have it.
