Macro feints are really obvious the problem is getting proof. Really the only way to catch someone is in a duel server and recording them in action, I would love for them to be global banned too.
A video of someone pulling sick feints wouldn't be a proof of macro usage since we don't really know how those feints are produced. Reading some sort of input data, if its possible, could be interesting. If someone is consistently pulling off a sequence of 3(4,5,n) hits with exact to the millisecond time period between them each time, and the pattern repetition can be detected - i'd say that is enough evidence to conclude that our someone is using some program assistance.

Not even a week back to crpg and here we go  :D
Yeah, can confirm it happened.
Couple seconds before the incident Amox_Cancer teamhitted me out of nowhere and didn't apologise, which was a little bit weird. I've reported him, which you can see in the logs, and decided to pay attention for a while. After some seconds he went after Xesta with no enemies close to them and clearly made couple swings at him. To me it looked like an intentional teamhit.
Although he stated he didn't see anything, Blackbows attitude toward Xesta seemed to be in the spirit of "calm down kiddo noone gives a fuck about you", my statements he just ignored.

I'm waiting till some kuyak 2h hero notice this game will be set in XIII century. That basiacally means no 2h swords, first proper longswords appeared around second half of XIII century. So be prepared for not much more than Oakeshott type XIIa and XIIIa swords.
Very true. I sometimes allow myself some wiggle room when it comes to weapon design but generally we're very strict with our setting/timeframe.
No handgonnes, zweihanders and AKs. warclubs...

You probably already answered this, but it won't harm anyone if you confirm it again. Think someone once said that due to Warband's physics engine limitation, sling type weapons weren't possible. Will we get those in Melee? Mostly interested into staff sling. There were Warband mods that had slings, but those were super badly implemented.

It can be done, but we don't consider sling/flexible weapons being a core part of initial release, all for the same reasons - we don't want something badly implemented. Right now we're working just on the core mechanics of the game.
Might appear if we come up with elegant and simple solution but right now its post-release update material i think.

What different types of buttcaps do? :?

Buttcap protects the rear end of shaft from splitting/damages, it also gives balance to spear for easier control of said spear. Aside from giving additional customisation option ofcourse.
