manages to end studies after long struggle just when crpg is dead.

wonders why.

^^

Crpg is probably the only reason I made it through college without committing sudoku tbh.

Yes, I know from whence I came! Discontented as a flame, Upon myself I live and glow. All I grasp like lightning flashes, All I leave behind is ashes
Flame I am - that much I know!

The ultimate procrastination-slaying tool is the creation of additional deadlines before the final deadline. As someone who procrastinates real hard (and did at uni), this one weird old trick that doctor's dont want you to know about changed everything.

And i'm not talking about shitty 'Imma do this by xx/xx/xxxx' self-imposed deadlines, if you're anything like me then those mean nothing. Create a situation where someone other than you will be disappointed/pissed off with you if you havent made progress by xx/xx/xxxx.

Example 1: When I was writing my dissertation at the start I had brief weekly or fortnightly meet-ups with my lecturer, but that carried with it the expectation that I'd made progress between each one. I ended up writing half of it before Christmas as a result, but after Christmas we stopped having those meet-ups and I didnt touch it again until 2 nights before the deadline (around Easter).

Example 2: At work during a release I never procrastinate, despite my true nature. I attribute that to daily standups, as they carry the expectation of daily progress. I can abandon this forum and all forms of internet procrastination for weeks at a time if I'm busy enough.

TLDR - find a lecturer or someone else on your course and arrange a study session or something if you dont have much time left, a session where you *must* know about a certain topic because others in the session will be relying on you to help them study it.

Well, I also quit playing any computer games for some time now. But I don't see it as a reason for anything, more like a byproduct. I didn't even made that decision, just happened.

CRPG ends -  Alcohol and Marijuana consumption drops 90% - Productivity at work increases 90%

Probably no correlation though...

Have you tried creating a clearer separation  between study and leisure time? I used to study at home at my pc, but I would always waste lots of time with being distracted. What really helped me is going to the university library at a set time and study over there. Just having other people around studying provides a bit of extra pressure to do other things, and you can go home with a feeling that you are done for the day. It is even better if you have buddies that go there to, creating extra pressure to arrive there on time, and not leave early. My study time became way more efficient, and my leisure time felt less pressured.

Though you might have been gg-ed by your finals by now.
