I played with the new patch 223 for 20 minute , then all eu server crashed and now it tells me that i am on 0.222. I have strange equipment and i can't click on ok. Other people have the same problem.

Team counters(number of players on each team) is bugged.

Can plz also nerf the xbow heirlooms makes no sense it gets to keep its crasy heirloom stats while every other weapon or horse gets nerfed??  :twisted:

But all other weapons get damage bonus's applied to them(via PD, PS, PT) Crossbows don't.

I loomed my palfrey to champ & got courser's speed (48) for 600 gold upkeep. Now it has -2 speed/-2 maneuver but +10 hp!

Haaaaaa, they finally nerfed the horse high perf compressor + cylinder size doubling + slick tires replacement that was called "heirlooming". No more JetPony insta U-turn backlancing, hopefully.

 I thought agil gave no passive buffs, unlike the OP stregth that gives hp and melee damage. Strength stack, armour, no horse, 2 hand for easy mode. Why not nerf footmen heirlooms then? Real footmen don't need them according to your line of thought.

chadz is a horse hater that is slowly boiling horses into glue.

How do you boil a horse? Same as with a frog. Put it in the pot and turn on the fire. With each patch it is Guaranteed cavalry gets an incremental nerf. It might not look like much patch to patch, but compare joke cav with how cav were and you see a HUGE, really HUGE  difference.

Even with crippled cav, people eating bacon sandwiches while they play or tunnel vision still die to cav, causing them to whine about cav, causing more nerfs.

Message this sends? Whine about the couter of your playstyle to get it nerfed.

I can't get 0,223 working

I downloaded the latest version from here (http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,4910.0.html)

And I still get error window, that I have 0,221 version.

So I downloaded Ninja-update and overwrite files in crpg folder.

Nothing happened, still 0,221 version.

Any ideas?

Downloaded the update, twice.  Reinstalled it, twice.

Still says I have .222 when I go into maps, and ohhhh...

I spawn with none of my gear, but instead with Khergit Guard Armor (which I do not own) and a Deadly Hafted Blade...  along with other random items that I should not have.

Oh, and I have to pay for them too.

So, wut up with that?

I know you have access to all our accounts.

that you gonna fix  shield loom,  to a halfway  between what it was and what is now

becouse losing 50 hp to a shield for a +3 speed, is     toomuch.     will bring also everybody back to use only  huscarl.     

give at list +2 speed or +3 speed for     loom.

i not think that+ 9 speed matters much.            tbh.         i barely see any difference in using a steel 61 speed vs a norman or a huscarl 80+ speed

DTV is buggier than it was before. For starters I'm not making any gold or xp, not sure if that's a server thing or what. Secondly there's great variance in when the game spawns the players. Sometimes it spawns us with 12 seconds before the enemy spawns (like it should be) and sometimes it spawns us and the enemy at the same time. Just a few minor issues I hope are sorted out soon...

I only noticed the first one but you may be right.  My warhammer, though, only seems to have been nerfed in the first patch.

Is anyone else having problems with the mod crashing since this ver 222 and 223.  Since installing them onto the mod, as soon as i joined a server it crashed.. with a "windows unexpected error report".  Iv tried Removing mod, d/l and installing the complete version of crpg. Which seemed to work for a few hours but when i left the game and come back to it now i am getting the same again: "Unexpected error" followed by the game closing down.

Anyone having a similiar prob or does anyone have any idea?

So is the plan to get rid of throwing? Theres no point to throw now... Very limited ammo, and now the only thrower will be war darts and even they wont get many(if any) kills. I was working on being a cav thrower, but that went out the window as soon as this .223 patch came out. So now youre either melee, bow, or cav? Might as well make them into classes if youre going to limit everything.

On a more positive note: It does seem more balanced.

Edit: And u nerfed horses? only +2 speed between a normal courser and the champion? WTF? Really? Did I just waste all my looms for jack shit, Err this is getting frustrating

But i dont see much people do that anymore. Cause its way more easier to bump, lolstab people in 1 hit.

For killing my thrower. Had lot's of fun with heavy axes at patch 0.221.

Couldn't use those effectively after patch 0.222 because of the wpf/accuracy nerf. BUT, I could redo my heirlooms so I picked war darts to heirloom, since they were the only remotely accurate throwing weapon that still did some damage. Sure, it still took 4 war darts to kill a guy in mail with 11 PT but it was slightly effective.

Now my stacksize got cut in half too. 16 wardarts I can't even use to block with. 12 if I bring a 1h weapon. Need 4 to kill a guy. Need 20 or more to break a shield. My potential kills with throwing weapons has been reduced to 3-4 if I hit all of em. On the same guys.

That's bull, we can't bump lolstab onehit. Unless people, like you, are wearing felt hats, which will make sure you die of any hit to the head instantly.

Was playing DTV today and I got no headshots although I stood directly above my targets and always hit directly into their head o.O


@Thovex: Please show me a horse with 80Km/h ^^  not even without armour and an armoured on it a horse reaches 80Km/h :D

For some reason when i download this and overwrite it in my crpg folder it just says its already there so i skip it and say rewrite it then go on the game it self and then crpg then try to join a server but it says i dont have the module version 0.223.Can you guys help me out thanks :)

In my oppinion CRPG is moving into the right direction.

I mean. its a good start, when you deconstruct something piece by piece and break it. In order for you to understand how to fix and improve it. I guess atm, we entered the breaking part :D

Sure, it still took 4 war darts to kill a guy in mail with 11 PT but it was slightly effective.

not sure if this is intended, but in .222 DTV was great. You had a reasonable head start at the beginning of a round to prepare for 3 waves of attackers. Now it seems like we spawn almost simultaneously in .223

May I just ask one thing?: Why were horse and shield heirlooms not nerfed before the heirloom respec? Like all the other heirlooms?

I expect a lot more posts from people being unhappy and demanding a second respec.

For the future, save yourselves the trouble, make all the nerfs on your list completed before doing a respec.

Gotta say, as much as I enjoy cRPG, I felt we had reached a balance a while ago, possibly with just before sheathable weapons, possibly just after. But now I feel as if we have gone over that balance, and maybe it would be a bit embarrassing to go back on decisions, but I think perhaps the nerfing has gone a bit too far. I would say the crossbow is perfect now, as balanced as it will get, don't touch it. Archery is nearly right, but needs more reloading speed IMHO. Throwing needs a bit more ammo, otherwise it is a pretty useless weapon. Melee seems fine to me.

The changes for shield hirelooms seem quite okay. As everything else got nerfed shield looms were very unbalanced and I say that as a shielder ;)
The reduction from 7 to 4 War Darts is hard, but did noone else notice that the WPF requirement for PT seems to be lower? I don't get the annoying red message anymore :)
And everyone who says that you need 4-5 War Darts with 11PT for a guy in Mail (30 armor?) is exxagerating. I need 2-3 Darts with PT 10, but with a maximum of 16 Darts I now try a support thrower that lets enemies struggle with stones. Nothing for a high KD, but at least it helps the team...

Magikarp.  Seriously horses heirlooms were the best in the game, they just rebalanced them with all the other heirlooms.  You still get +2 speed/+2 maneuverability additional armor and hitpoints and charge damage, compared to +1 speed/+3 damage for most weapons.  Your whining is making all the legitimate cavalry people's complaints look like they are meaningless and deterring from actual constructive comments, as a cav person I would not want you badmouthing chadz thinking thats going to somehow make him rebuff cavalry.  Its getting old, actually kind of surprised you aren't muted yet.

Making javs and jarids 2 slots was a mistake and doesn't make much sense. I'm not a thrower myself, but even I can see it's a bit of a idiotic thing to do. Now it all but makes dedicated throwers redundant. If you're going to make it 2 slots, give them more ammo to make up for it.

- Killed my polearm/archer (two slot polearms  :rolleyes: )
- Left my cav on life support (nerfed everything!)

PROTIP: To not get killed by cav, turn your sound on. If you heard an "ARRGH" followed by loud horse beating right behind you, don't get stabbed in the back. Stop complaining.

EDIT: buff AGI too. It's fucking useless.

I totally do.
Moreover a good clue to see if a class is too much nerfed , is to look how many player plays it.
after 0.220 three fourth of thrower are gone. Only real thrower remained , the other took again there real class (two handed thrower went back only two hand , same for onehanded shield thrower)
But since 0.223 even real thrower playing it since the begining are getting to other class. Nobody plays them on server. Even thrower throwing cheap ammo (war darts) have been nerfed.
Or take throwing lance for example. You could put his price to 20 000 , ask 8 or 9 power throw to be able to carry it ,  and let people carry 4 or 6 of them so it would be only against cav and useless against infantery    .. But now , we can carry only 2 of them , i concede that they only cost 8000 but who will carry only two ammo when you know that on good horses one is not enough to kill?

Yeah tbh I was fine being killed by cav and throwers. I get killed by everything. I think too many people got comfortable with their mainstream builds (you know who you are) and when throwing got buffed (maybe a LITTLE too much), wahwahwah. I don't even remember cavalry being buffed... cav players just started doing well. Then BAM nerf.

is it hard to get that ppl pissed off about rebalancing looms AFTA they placed loom points in it?! Idc about nowadays cav balance or what will it be tommorow. I care about 3 wasted loom points. btw compare horse looms & weap looms is a bit wierd - they got different upkeep dont u think?

When i on 0.223 first connetc to TVD on EU server and spawn there was a large yellow sign in the middle of the screen "Enemy spawn in 300 seconds"(i dont remember correctly what was there) and count to 0,i die on ~58 sec and it disappear,but it was so big and long and there was night...on NA server i dont see it.

Actually, why not. Heirloom respecs aren't an unbalanced feature that might break the game for those who don't have it. Just make sure everything you charge real money for isn't mandatory to have fun with the game like those who pay. In this case, I think it's not a problem.

i noticed the player counter in the upper left counter didnt work for 80% of the time yesterday evening, just faction banners without numbers. this is by the way my favorite feature and noticed i relied on it immensly lately so was pretty lost yesterday without it.

dunno if thats just me or was it a yestarday thing only but it worked perfectly on 0.222 version.

He carefully took the player collision model, and put little holes in it from all sides. If you hit a char from the correct angle, any arrow goes straight through. Can even hit a person behind you.
We had a great laugh doing this. Was totally worth the 9 hours.

I guess chadz was speaking the truth.. since implementing the new armors... they did make holes in the hitboxes. I suppose it was a fool's quess
I think perhaps their reaction was borne of pure frustration with the amount of whine they had already received before you came forward with your legitimate found bug. So they may have thought "ANOTHER whiner" and dismissed the bug. I don't think it is their or your fault for coming to loggerheads.

i noticed the player counter in the upper left counter didnt work for 80% of the time yesterday evening, just faction banners without numbers. this is by the way my favorite feature and noticed i relied on it immensly lately so was pretty lost yesterday without it.

dunno if thats just me or was it a yestarday thing only but it worked perfectly on 0.222 version.

It's not just you, the same happened to me too: the players numbers are bugged for me too, most of the time.

Yeah, Jambi, i understand that you are disapointed, as said Thomas, your bug report have been taken in the flow of whine, Still you're right in some point and i'm sure you did all you can to improve the mod.
Which is still in Beta test, and we are all beta testers, i'm glad that we all participate in this adventure.
Tbh, if i was a dev, it's been a long time that i will troll hard in every whining thread (may be even insult some).
But i guess you are not part of the whining community.

So, as Phaz and even if i don't know you, i give you a free hug!! ;)

When the Black Hood with Mask get a fix? The new faces bugged it at Patch 0.211 and since then its has still 2 big holes in the backhead...

We should make a Hug or hate a developer/admin sub forum. So whenever they feel butthurt. They can read there personal assigned thread, and read the hugs or hate.

So they can determine, if its right too feel butthurt, because they are hated. Or maybe stop being emo, because alot of people still love and hug them :D

fucking fix the 1hand rigth swing of the long espada and maybe all the fucking 1hand all other weapon have the time to swing 2time before i can do a rigth swing. the animation is really bug! need to be fix for sure.
